By far best pizza in the area. first REAL chicago-style pizza i've had around here.
I'm from the SW side of chicago, where there are many great pizzeria's so I've been spoiled and am pretty critical of pizza. After trying several pizza's from the Wheeling/BG area, I'd just about given up on ordering pizza around here. (Seriously, I haven't ordered a pizza around here in years, and I'm a pizza lover. I've just been consistantly disappointed with the canned taste of sauce, over priced, thick or cardboard-like crust, that is found at many other places.)
Joe's is a real pizza: crispy crust, cut into squares, greasy as hell, great Italian sausage, and very good sauce. Priced fair, too.
I'm pretty happy we found Joe's. I can actually order a good pizza for all my Chicago relatives and friends that we'll all like.
Joe's Pizza HANDS DOWN is the BEST thin pizza ever..I don't know if it's the sauce or cheese or all of it..but it is GOOD!- YOU HAVE to try it and you'll be hooked- better than anywhere in the city or burbs... The ingredients are yummy! We've had guests from all over come in town and they love it too!...Our block party is hooked now...
Four stars for the pizza
