I just recently visited one of the most unique restaurants in the area. I have driven by there many times and because of the outside not looking too inviting, I decided to give it a try. It was everything and more than what I had heard. The Friday night buffet was what we had. It was outstanding. There wasn t anything else that one person could want. The crab legs (snow) were plentiful and the sushi.......out of this world. We were seated on the main floor by the buffet because of handicap acessibility so we were able to hear everything the diners were saying. Everyone seemed just as happy as we were. Our server (s) were on top of things the second we put down an empty shell. Constantly giving us clean silverware and plates. Many of them have been there a long, long time and I can see why.
Sure everyone has room for improvement but I don t feel they lax for much. I would HIGHLY recommend them. They also have daily specials and a Sunday Brunch that I hear is awesome as well.
Took Mom and my wife there for lunch today. The interior isnt the latest, but like one reviewer said, you aren't eating the furniture. Had a bucket of clams for an appetizer and it was outstanding, but you had better love garlic!! We all ended up having the lobster rolls for lunch and they were exquisite: better than the ones I've had on the east coast. We followed it up with cheesecake and fresh blueberries and coffee. I was a little surprised, as it was kind of pricey when the bill came. Not a place I'd run to every day for lunch, but the girls loved it and Mom wants to come back on her next return from Phoenix.
I had the brunch at Port Edwards several times over the course of 2 years. Great food each time.
I read these reviews that mention the interior needing updated, all I can say to that is: I'm not going to eat the interior designs. So who give's a ( ).
Go and enjoy a meal !
