I went to Rays Electronics about a week and a half ago to purchase a Pioneer AVh-3100 and man did they do a fantastic job! Ray is a nice guy and gave me a good price on everything i needed/wanted. From the installation parts to the double-din itself he gave me very good deals, mostly half off on everything. the guy who helpped me out also (i forgot his name) he was very nice and helpful too! He knew everything and was quick with the parts i needed. After installation was done i was satisfied with everything. they did a great job and showed me the basics of the double-din (what not to do, how to change stuff, etc.) I also got a shirt, DVD Music Video, and a warrenty! for FREE!! :) lol but i totally recommend Ray's for installation/purchasing. he'll give you the best price on everything. best buy aint got nuttin on this people lol Ray's has Very nice people and smart at what they do, i will be back soon for other parts for my car.
hmmm..where to begin..let me start off by saying that Ray's is good for small items like wires and maybe some lights...but bigger equiptment like subs and amps i would not suggest going there ...all their equiptment is refurbished...and you may get this "awesome" 90 day warrenty but of course nothing will happen till after that time period...You may wanna go to Best Buy and get that 3 YEAR warranty.. one time they sold me a cd player that was on display for who knows how long...a few times i went back to exchange an amp and they made me hook it up myself...another time i was getting a system installed and the installer spilled a can of coke ALL OVER the inside of my car and DIDN'T clean it up..A friend of mine used to work there and he tells me all the bogus stuff that goes on there...hey, but at least they gave me a free t-shirt...is it possible to rate below "awful"?
Honestly I rarely have a good experience with Ray's
He doesn't always have the best prices and consistently falls back to the statement, "its cheaper than best buy", even though its not always true
The only advantage i see here is with having a system you already purchased set up. The guys other than Ray are pretty knowledgeable and do a decent job with their hook-ups.
One quick horror story:
Most recently my friend went in there against my advice and bought an amp
after 5 weeks it started overloading without cause
when we brought it in they attempted to convince us
it was because it was wired wrong
after a five minute argument Ray said we could buy a better more expensive amp, even though the original amp was still under their 90 day warranty and was defective. He will not honor the warranty.

i bought an amp from him and it blew from me messing with the settings on it so it was my fault and he gave me a brand new one
