i agree. it's not what you think if you're looking for authentic BBQ. very overrated or rated by underachievers. One or the other. this would not even be recognized as a restaurant in the south. Real southern BBQ lovers will be very disappointed here

very overrated BBQ! Nothing special, sauce is thin and vinegery, I tried to order BBQ chicken once, this is what I got. Frozen fried chicked out of a box, plopped in a deep fryer with a one ounce container of sauce on the side.And then they gave me a hard time when I complained about it and wanted my money back! Want excellent BBQ Ribs? Order the Ribs from Jimano's,much better than Hillery's and they deliver!The original store in North Chicago was better than the one on Lewis.
