I have been a client of Dr. Blazer and Dr. Connolly over a span of 40 years and have always received excellent care for my animals. My pets have also been seen by Dr. John (VonBampus) and I have been very satisfied with the exceptional level of care my pets have received from all the vets and the staff. My current pets are clients of Dr. Blazer and his excellent caring staff (including Dr.John VonBampus)at their new location of Northlake Animal Hospital at 153 e. North Ave., Northlake IL 60164 (708-410-0432) and I am happy knowing my pets are in great hands with their best interests in mind.

"Awful" is GENEROUS for this rating!!!!!!!!!They let me sit for over an hour the last 3,yes 3 times I've gone there.Taking other people that were only there 10-15 minutes!!!! I asked the 2 times prior to this,"Did i say or do something to piss you off"? DON"T go here unless you have 2 hours + to wait for simple yearly shots.When Dr.Connelly ran it,it was a great place to go,NO MORE!!!I got up and left for the last time!!!!!!!!Disappointed!

I would not believe this person or any of their reviews. There is no way that Sad but True could have been there recently as 5/18/2009 or anytime remotely close to that date, as Mannheim Veterinary Hospital closed down on 12/31/2008...Dr. Connolly has retired, and Dr. Blazer and Dr. VonBompus opened a new veterinary hospital in Northlake. The hospital was run by appointments and it also makes me wonder if Sad but True ever had an appointment or if the staff was being kind and fitting you in between appointments...Also I have been a client of Dr. Blazer and Dr. Connolly over a span of 40 years and have always received excellent care for my animals. My current pets are clients of Dr. Blazer and his excellent caring staff (including Dr.John VonBompus)and I am happy knowing my pets are in great hands with their best interests in mind.
Sad but True is totally full of it! My family and I have been taking our pets here since I was young. I am a personal friend of the Blazers and I recommend EVERYONE to take their pets here when they ask. It angers me that someone would make up such a far-fetched LIE! This is the best place to go, I don't care how far it is! The price is worth it and they treat all animals like family! I am taking my new puppy later this week!
