Toyota in Lombard, IL is NOT the place you want to go, for anything whatsoever. They are the most outright liars and swindler's I've had to deal with from a Toyota dealer.

Living in another Chicago area, I brought my truck in for warranty service and their top question as soon as I got to the desk was where did I purchase the car? I told them where I got it and they gave me the cold-shoulder from that moment on. After sitting in the "break room" for two hours, they came back and told me they couldn't duplicate my problem and sent me on my way... On the way out of the dealer, I easily identified the problem, and phoned them on my cell. They refused to answered the phone when I told the receptionist my name, despite repeated calls.

I'd give it negative stars, but that's not an option. It's a racket, spare yourself the trouble, stay away from the Toyota dealer on the hill! -matt 7/8/09

Worst dealer experience I have ever had. Our daughter picked out a car and we had all the costs figured out and when it came time for her to pay the finance guy said there would be a $95 charge for the car having clear coat applied. We said we didnt want it and he told us we had no choice. She was purchasing a Yaris and they are hard to come by right now so we went ahead with the deal. But it wasnt right what they did.

It was already applied and if we wanted the car we would have to pay the extra $95. He said it is applied to all cars and all customer must pay it. Also he said that it included another application in six months. I have never been "FORCED" to purchase something like this from a dealer in my life.

After getting home and thinking about how underhanded this was I asked for a refund for the $95. Spoke to the salesman who was so sweet when we were buying the car. He basically called me a liar and said there was no way their finance guy forced us to purchase the clear coat. There were 3 of us present and we all know what we heard. I also asked to just get half back and not return in 6 months for the second application and was told they cant do that. The salesman became really mean and boy did his true colors come out.

We have bought a lot of cars and have never been ripped off by a dealer like this. I would NEVER return to this place. I would rather drive much further to a different Toyota dealer then to ever have to deal with them again.

They have serviced My Tundra Many times and never grease the drive shafts. This time I told them to make sure they grease, Will they didnt! I called the Service Director , he wasnt there and would call back never did. I then contacted Toyota, Somebody from Lombard called me and said somebody would contact me the next day. No call now for two weeks. Very poor service I will have to try another dealer even though they are the close to me. Very poor service and followup on Lombard Toyota Side!
