Dr. Higgins is truly a one-of-a kind physician. He genuinely cares about his patients and our well-being. He's compassionate and yet very thorough. He explains the actions he would like to take with my health care, and takes as much time as I personally need with questions. He is reassuring. He prescribes relevant testing and follow-up.

Before Dr. Higgins I was with a physician who was not thorough at all, and who asked me the same questions over and over as though I was not a person of real interest, but just a number or a random patient who walked through the door. Dr. Higgins not only makes notes to remember who I am and what my issues are, but he clearly knows ME and who I am. That means a lot.

On my first visit, this doctor came into the waiting room to call his next patient - I couldn't believe it. I mentioned it when I got into the room, and he indicated that the nurses were busy and he didn't want to keep them from what they were doing ... with a little smile and matter of fact way of just being HUMAN!! I was impressed for sure.

His nurses and even the physician he has seeing patients in his absence - Dr. Spratfor - all awesome people. It seems that he surrounds himself with very capable, caring, compassionate, efficient, knowledgeable, professional, go-the-extra-mile types of people. This makes sense to me, since that is exactly the type of doctor he is.

A joy to have as my physician, and I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone in need of a thorough, competent, caring, compassionate doctor.

I love this doctor, he's easy to talk to and most of all he seems to "get it". whatever the problem may be. I was going to my previous doctor for about 10 years, had an issue with breathing and she put me through every test possible and everything always came out fine. I finally got fed up because she wasn't willing to pursue it any further and decided to leave her. Found Dr. Higgins and immediately his opinion was to tweak the meds I was already on for blood pressure and what have you.....and WALAH my problem was gone.
He is my hero.
