User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsI really enjoy the sushi at Nagano. The portions are good in size, fresh, and the prices are really reasonable. The down side is the rude service. If I feel like sushi at home, I will get Nagano to go. If I want a nice sit down place - I go to the Sushi Inn on Roosevelt in Lombard. They are much more pleasant and the sushi is also good.

My wife and I are regular sushi eaters, but since moving to the western 'burbs, have had trouble finding quality sushi. We visited Nagano for the first time yesterday, and were not disappointed. The sushi / sashimi was very nice, and the rolls were fine, if unspectacular. Spicy tuna roll was a bit bland and mayo flavored, but overall the experience was better than others we've had in the burbs. We will be back.

The sushi and the prices are great but I must agree that the son of the owner (server) is beyond rude. I always get my sushi to go now because of his service. I wish they would hire outside the family.
