I'm over due for a review on this shop. I went to Sophia's in September of 2010 to get my hair microed. The job they did on my hair was phenomenal! Sophia wasn't in the shop during the process but the young ladies that were braiding my hair did an amazing job. I took my braids down mid-December, so they lasted 2 1/2 to 3 months. It took about 8 hours for them to complete my hair and I believe that was due to the constant breaks the ladies took. I was understanding because I know people get hungry throughout the day. However, I wasn't too sure about the child being present and crawling all over the shop. I was concerned for his safety because I didn't want him to eat any of the hair. Other than than that, the shop was clean and organized and I was comfortable. Contemplating on a visit to them in April. My main concern was how well of a job they did in braids or any other hairstyles and they exceeded my expectations. A satisfied customer.
