User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI have been real supportive of this establishment in the the past! I listened to a friend who said that: 'the Dusties in Dolton is closed!" I didn't follow up for myself and took the Mrs. on her birthday, to the location in Matteson, IL. I will NEVER be a patron at THIS location again!! It is NOTHING like the Dolton location!! The food was not of the same quality! I will ONLY patronize the Dolton, IL location.
User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsI dine there because I can and the food is good, but I have to agree with others the prices are over the top. With those prices, Dusties can afford to remodel and make the atmosphere cleaner. It's the least a black owned business can do for it's loyal patrons. Hopefully its not only about the moolah.
User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsI've been to "Dusties" several time, and can say I enjoyed myself. The buffet was good,but what I did'nt like was the bread pudding,and the peach cobbler could use more peaches. I think they should add pecan pie to their list of desserts. Sunday is too crowded,so I usually go on weekdays. What I like best is the menu. Something for everyone. I like to watch the children scurry around,trying to pile everything on one plate!. (lol) (Like I use to do when I was a kid,at my Grandma's house). I also like the way they've decorated the lobby with "Old Album Covers". It brings back memories!. Such a quite and pleasant atmospher!. I'll be going back real soon!.

I totally agree with you. It seems as though they've use the same utensils, dinnerware since day one. The appearance is very distasteful. For the prices they need to invest in the diner. The carpeting is very dirty. It's all about the moolah as far as I'm concerned. I must say the food is good & I guess that's why they feel remodeling isn't necessary. Wrong idea.
