From the front desk staff to the therapists, everyone at Action for Kids was freindly and competent. My 6 year old daughter, CJ, has suffered from Apraxia of speech ever since she was 2 years old. We got therapy at many places over the years, including Easter Seals, and Children's Memorial. CJ made some success but her speech was still terribly distorted at age 5 when she entered school. She received therapy at school and we waited to see if it would finally get better. She continued to show little inprovement. Then someone told me about Action for Kids and how they specialize in Apraxia of speech. They have special techniques they use that none of our other therapists had tried. We brought CJ there right away and within 2 months we saw more improvement in her speech than we had in years.
