User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThis is the best Pizza in the south suburbs..bar none..We drive past Aurelios,and Sanfratello's to get to Ricos..We live in Homewood,and its about 7-8 miles one way,and well worth it..
Order the spicy sauce on your pizza...and the thin crust is perfect..The employees are very nice,and seem to really care about the quality...

This is the best thin crust pizza on earth, and until I find something better, that is not an exageration. This is thin crust the way it should be, crispy crust, crispy cheese, spicy sauce, all prepared perfectly. I recommend a sausage and pepperoni. All ingredients are fresh and home made. The sauce is amazing. When ordering, order one and then order a second medium (to fit in your oven) half baked so you can have another the next day. I cannot say this enough, this pizza will be the best you will ever have. We drive 90 miles round trip to get this pizza and buy half baked ones just so we can have one at the ready (They freeze nicely). I can give you names of over 100 or so people that we turned Rico's onto. I am on a crusade to let the world know how great this pizza is, and I believe the others that I have turned this incredible pizza onto would do the same. Every single friend, relative or other aquintance has said that it is by far the best pizza they have ever had, and never heard one single say anything less than that.
We have shipped this pizza to Michigan, Arizona, California, Washington, Colorado and Florida. We actually have friends that will not let us off the plane if we are not carrying Rico's as carry on. The owners current and previous are incredibly nice, their delivery is stellar, and their prices are fantastic. I lived 4 blocks from this place for 17 years and at one point, would eat their once a week. My family still lives there and orders it almost as much.
If you are a thin crust pizza lover, and you live within 200 miles of this place, it is a MUST visit someday, your life as a pizza lover would not be complete. I in no way am exaggerating.
