User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsMy family and I have been coming here on and off for 4-5 years - whenever I come in from Los Angeles, we would make a point of going there instead of to a Chicago restaurant in order to to put money back into a local neighborhood business. Finally, we have given up on the place.
In the first couple of years after it opened, it had good asian-fusion food, decent service, a seamless professionalism to its operations, and a cool ambiance.
However, as it has gotten busier and encouraged the yupster bar patron crowd (which makes complete sense, that's where the money is), the food quality and service has gone way down. Food is either over or undercooked, the portion sizes have diminished, and the service is either distracted, or unaccommodating and rude.
I don't recommend it. Better to patronize one of the new asian restaurants in the neighborhood. While their food quality is unknown, and least they are likely to have better service. Because they actually want your business!
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI feel like the reviews here don't do this restaurant justice. We live in town and go out here occasionally and we've never had bad service or substandard food. Some of the menu items are pricey, but there are plenty of delicious, reasonably priced choices too. It has a cool atmosphere and lots of unique options. I think it's a great place for date night or an evening with friends.

Absolutely horrible. Extremely overpriced, misleading menu. Kobe burger seemed to be a frozen patty -- dry and tastelsss. Noodle dish had almost no veggies despite the several listed in the description. Crab soup had imitation crab! Don't waste your time or money. Asian Harbor is better! I wish they had negative stars.
