DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT!!!! What a poor excuse for what is supposed to be good food and service!!We went to Balagio last night for what was supposed to be a celebatory dinner with my family and it turned out to be a horrible night. Our waitress was rude and did not have the common courtesy to actually listen to what we were saying. She was pushy with our ordering and did not listen at all when we asked for things. She would walk up to us ask how things were and then walk away LITERALLY before we got a chance to ask her for a refill or whatever else we may have needed. My husband ordered what was supposed to be a "Signature Balagio Martini" and when he got it there was things floating in it. It looked disgusting -- he asked the waitress for another one so she went to the bar and then came back with the same one saying that it was fine. It was gross!!! Also, we ordered two steaks both medium one came well done the other was almost rare. Then we asked to have the leftovers wrapped up and they threw away over half of a steak dinner...to top it all off after we spoke with the manager who seemed like she didn't even care about the problems we had they had things on the bill that we did not have. It was a poor excuse for a dining establishment.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsGreat ambiance! Fabulous entaertainment!: This is the place to go if you want to impress your date or go for a special occasion. The prices are a wee bit steep but considering you don't have to go all the way downtown, it's not a bad deal. The wait time, although long, is hardly noticed because of the in-house entertainment.
