User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsThis restaurant had the worse customer service from the moment my friends and I walked in. For going on a Wednesday evening, this was the slowest service I have ever experience at a restaurant. We arrived around 7:30. Found out from the assistant manager that our ticket was given to the cook until 8pm. Ask for another glass of water and was completely ignored. One of my friends didn't receive the side dish she order and wasn't informed until our entrees came without any notice or offer of substitution. This was our first and only time here and it gets 2 thumbs down.
User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsFood was very good, great service, waitresses are very attentive, place is clean. Good mix of Cajun and Southern cooking. Something for everyone on the menu. Seafood dishes are good.
User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsCATFISH DELIGHT: Dixie Kitchen has the best baby fried catfish to die for. Overall this place is nice and the setting is even better. When you walk through the door you automatically think of the movie "Fried Green Tomatoes" This eatery is located directly across from Calypso Cafe in the Hyde Park Community.
