    Great Food: My family actually know the owners of Mr. Gyros. They are friendly, the food is awesome and the portions are big. A must if you have a taste of gyros!
    They also have a huge Ice Cream menu! I love this place. Hi George!

    A tourist attraction in its own rite!: My husband and I first visited this place a year ago on our honeymoon. We could not believe how generous the portions were for the reasonable prices. The environment is clean and friendly, and the service is prompt. The food tastes fresh and always hot. I have had gyros where the meat sat under a warming light and was "crispy", but this stuff is fresh, hot, and juicy. We recently returned to this spot for our first anniversary and when the guy who took our order found out it was our anniversary, he surprised us by bringing out to our table a wonderful ice cream dessert and wished us a happy anniversary. I have spoken with friends who live in Calumet City that have also eaten here and they tell me the hospitality is always great. I have recommended this place to anyone I know will be in the area.
