User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsI just called to make reservations and the guy who answered the phone was extremely rude. As a result, I ended up not making the reservations and hung up the phone. A big disappointment because the food is usually good the times I've gone. Will they ever get it, that good customer service also makes a difference in whether or not a customer will return. The attitude over the phone was totally unexpected and not at all professional.

We've been going since they first opened up, we haven't went back in the last year or so because the place hit skid roll! We went there yesterday for my little's boy's birthday and the chef we had was horibble , we only went there because my son liked the enterainment from the chef's he remembered that, this time there wasn't any, very huge disappoinment for him, we could barely get a descent birthday song out of them, the food was absoutely horibble, my husband actually got sick afterwards and he has an iron stomach, for him to get sick it was pretty bad. The steak the chef over did it with pepper, the chicken was way over cooked and the shrimp tasted like rubber, we where so embarrassed because we took our mother-in-law there she's never been there before, you might as well travel the distance and go downtown to get a good Japanese meal don't waste your money!!!!

One of the best restaurant, went for my birthday the chef was very entertaining and personal. His knife skills were out of this world. The food was to die for. The entire staff was extremely nice. I loved everything about Hamada and can't wait to go again. Special thanks to the staff for making my birthday dinner such an enjoyable experiences.
