Great place to have fun. Great food, entertainment. Live bands, comedy shows. Great service. Vince is the best. ladies he is a catch!
My opinion... find another place to go. With this said, I looked up the Roundhouse on the web, seemed like a decent place to go for dinner and a live band. I have heard about nightmare parking issues with this place, but on the website it said free valet parking when the lot is full. So, we arrived at 7:30 p.m. on a Saturday for dinner and the lot was full. The valet people said it was $5 to park even though it clearly stated that it was free on the internet. Hmm... interresting. So, after driving around for a while, we luckily finaly found a spot after some one else left. Anyway, time for dinner. We sat out on the patio so that we could hear the band when they started. Dinner was decent, nothing special. They did have several decent custom brewed beers though... bonus! Dinner went well and our waiter was great. Now, the band was supposed to start at 10:00, but didn't start until 10:45p.m. So, we sat out on the patio and continued to order their fine brews. Well, after we got our bill for well over $100, a flunky bouncer came up and said that we had to pay a cover. We said we would finish our beers that we had and would leave...eventhough I found it very odd and stupid that after we paid well over $100 for a meal that we needed to pay a cover charge for a band. Well, the idiot bouncer came back a minute later and rudely told us that we had to leave "Right Now!" So, needless to say, I will never go back to that place again. There are many other places of business that don't treet their customers like some drunk retarded college frat boys.
Very nice to visit, but not like it used to be...: My husband and I used to frequently visit this place throughout the last few years. Each time we went, we were always impressed with the food and the service. On our most recent visit, which was just a couple of weeks ago, it wasn't as great as it used to be. The beers are still tasty and the food still plentiful, but it just didn't have the ZIP flavor that it used to have. Also I had the tiramisu and discovered that it was frozen (which means they didn't make it at all). I was pretty disappointed with my eating experience this last time, but I'll never forget the great times I had years prior to the place. I really hope it was just an off day.
