Let's see...where to begin?
I went in to get two keys cut and programmed. Sounds easy, right?
After being there with my wiggly, cranky 18 month old for over an hour, they told me the machine they use to cut the key broke and that they only could finish one key. By the time I left, I was there for over almost three hours, only to get one key and needed to come back to get the second key cut and go through the whole process again. UGH! And, for my trouble, they won't charge me the service fee for having to have all the keys programmed a second time when the second key is cut. (Whenever you need a new key cut for our make and model, you have to reprogram all the keys at the same time.)
Right...like that really makes up for the hassle factor! Come on!
And, btw, we broke the antenna on your car. But, hey, don't worry we won't charge you to repair it.
Joel, the main person I had contact with was very polite and I know all the mishaps were honest mistakes and things like that happen. But, service reps should really be more than polite. Retaining customers (at least this one) means you make things right and *proactively* compensate when you are clearly adding hassle to their lives and wasting their time.
Don't even get me started on how filthy the toddler area was. Bring your hand sanitizer.
Bright spots: The coffee area is nice and the receptionists were helpful and cheerful.
I really hope Honda sends me a customer satisfaction survey. We own two Hondas and when it's time to replace them...we will go elsewhere.
I found their pricing to be competitive. Salesman did not try to sell "packages" I did not need and the car was ready on the day it was promised.
Even though I have to drive 25 miles to get my car serviced at this dealership, I am happy to do it because the service department is such a pleasure to deal with. I like it that they take the time to explain and make sure the customer understands what's to be done to their vehicle. I've seen them treat every customer with courtesy. Prices are very fair and best of all they wash your car for free.
I had a very positive experience with this dealer.
