Although Wildfire, Oak Brook is a wonderful looking room with great food it is much too loud and the tables are crowded together. It looks like a high-end supper club but aspires to the TGIF crowd! It was mobbed the night we went and the wait for a table was long, made only slightly shorter with a reservation! There was music piped into the room but I couldn't really hear it.
For the price you pay I would expect a far more enjoyable dining experience.-

The food at wildfire was pretty good, the staff was nice and the atmosphere was also pretty nice. Until I looked at my plate and saw a bug crawling on my plate!! I had broccoli so i'm assuming thats where it came from. The manager was helpful he took it off my bill and apologized, but i was grossed out for the rest of the night. Not to mention I was kinda pushed to leave because of their embarrassement, over all this is nice place but a bad experience for me.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsConsistently excellent food. Call way ahead for a reservation especiall on the weekend. I have never had a bad meal here, only great ones. We go often and this and the one downtown are one of our all time favorite restaurants. You will not be disappointed.
