User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI love this place. Best food in town. Me and my girl friends have been going there for years. I like the new homemade ham the owner smokes. Hard to find anywhere else. I just wish it was bigger. Can be tight at times.

Oswego Family is a fabulous tiny little local ICON! If you are looking for fancy go somewhere else, this is a home town diner, so don't expect anything fussy. They are always busy and it's a tight squeeze to move about in the place, but the servers manage to sneak in and out really well. The restaurant is very cozy and it keeps everyone friendly because you never know who might end upon your lap...but that is it part of the charm. We lived in Oswego for almost three years, this resturant made us feel like locals from the first visit by the third visit we were "regulars" and they knew our names. The staff is patient, kind and always full of smilies. They work really hard, and the food is amazing. They serve the best hamburgers around! Total comfort food! On Sunday morings they open up the doors between the local lodge and the restaurant so they can seat more customers. It is a great place to stop for real American Food. My Son Loved the 2x2x2.(2 pancakes, 2 eggs and 2 slices of bacon), my Husband loved the Grilled Cheese and Meatloaf Dinner. Myself, I was partial to the Hamburgers and the Steak Skillet. This Is place to build memories...we are headed back into the area this weekend to visit with our former neighbors...We will be meeting them at Oswego Family! Homemade dessert is included with dinner specials, made by the same little old lady who has been making them for about 50 years. If you are a people watcher this place is a must.

I've been going there for the last 5yrs and I can only say the food is excellent the service is just as good.There breakfest food is the best.I'm sure the lunch food is just as good.
