User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI love Naper Settlement! I've lived in Naperville for just over a year and have already been several times. A membership pays for itself almost instantly.
Every time we have visitors, most of whom are from out of state or overseas, we take them to the Settlement and everyone has been instantly won over by its charm.
The carefully refurbished buildings are beautiful, and the decor and items inside really give you a feel for years gone by. The costumed volunteers and cheerful and knowledgable, and really make the Settlement fun. Junior volunteers are a joy, and their willingness to show off their own knowledge and skills with toys from the past is a real treat.
I'd recommend Naper Settlement to anyone looking for a place to entertain guests, friends, or family of all ages! There are great activities for kids, and areas where they can dress up in period costume, play games, and do puzzles.
