I echo the "ripoff" comments. Read this horror story!
I just had my son's '05 Altima checked since it didn't pass its emissions test. Gerald told me it needed an entirely new catalyst system for $2100, which could have been correct, but at the same time tried to sell me additional maintenance for $2500, totalling $4600!
Then I am told that the catalyst system is warrantied for 8 years or 80,000 miles, and since the problem was discovered at 83,000 miles they could nothing for me. I approached Nissan corporate about the issue pointing out that the catalyst system undergoes no maintenance schedule and could have died 50,000 miles ago for all anyone knows, but they repeated the same thing; too bad. I also pointed out that I had just purchased a new Infiniti M45 (Nissan) after being a BMW customer for 20 years, but that had on effect.

On top of this, Gerald told Nissan that we had the car serviced elsewhere (2 oil changes only), after I had bought the car from them initially, and already spent a couple of thousand $$$ in repairs with Gerald! The Infiniti will be gone and so will the Altima ASAP!

This Dealership is the worst! Never again will I service or buy from Gerald! They are Rip- OFFS!

I've been working with the Gerald Nissan service department for years and have always been satisfied. I traded for an Infiniti a couple of years ago but I still use Gerald Nissan for service. I have a better experience there than I did at the Infiniti dealer's service department.
