I road tested a 2001 Oldsmobile Alero and the car had a noise that coincided with the rotation of the tire. There was also a slight knock in the engine. The salesman explained this by stating, "all cars make some noise".
Still willing to have my mechanic check out the car, I made an offer
on the car, contingent upon my mechanic's approval. I did not even have to bother my mechanic, as the manager countered my offer with a reduction of only two hundred dollars less than their asking price. This was in spite of the obvious problems that I had pointed out to the salesman. The salesman then stated that they had already dropped the price $4,000.00, from their original asking price of $9,990, a price that never existed on their website, or anywhere that was posted in their dealership for a customer to view !!!
I seriously wonder if Bill Jacobs is aware of the practices that his employess are using, to run his dealership.
