EDIT: Well, I'm back there now; but for Dr. Adam, not for Dr. Majors. I was never a patient of Dr. Majors and could not comment on his gift...alls I know is it was really annoying the amount of death-focused marketing they did before (I haven't been back long enough to see if it's still there). I really wish they were more life-affirming than death-focused. I realize that is what they want to do to make their point, and they feel it is necessary, but I just feel as if it scares people and since they don't take much personal time with clients, clients just end up being scared and not knowing really what to do. Behavior Modification is a complicated science, and perhaps Planet Chiropractic is not the best at it yet (key word: yet. Through the past year, I find tremendous evidence that they have been constantly improving themselves and striving toward bettering their practice. More on this later). Adjustments and education, sure, but not behavior modification, which is really the key when people are going for a complete lifestyle change. However, they have thousands of clients...so who am I to say what kind of marketing is effective? It scared me away for a year, but...I'm back.
I am back now because Dr. Adam gives very good adjustments, and tells me what to do on 'off days' so that I can hopefully see results.

Some good things I can say about Planet Chiropractic in my absence: They now make you walk with the head weights. Clearly, they are putting what they learn into practice and trying to make things better; they are adding the element of proprioception to the mix and probably getting better results overall. I was happy to see that their corrective care wasn't stagnating.
I also like to see that they are more involved in Raw Foods, which also shows the fact that they are willing to progress if it means getting better results (before they were into the whole Weston Price Nourishing Traditions thing). I'm also happy to see them add a stronger nutrition aspect to the mix; before, all they had was a counseling session with someone who would only tell me what was 'bad' in my diet and didn't say much about what I should be aiming to eat. By the way, the 'offender' in my diet was quinoa, which was 'bad' because it's a grain. (fyi, quinoa is technically a seed, but whatever).

I think I'd have an easier time divorcing my husband than getting out of their care plan!

It's pretty impersonal; if you've ever been to a chiropractor before, this one is more impersonal than others; you basically wait in a line, they adjust you all one by one with no privacy, and you're on your way.

They also tell you you're going to die if you don't get their services all the time. They always put up 'research' about how you're going to die young without chiropractic care, and even went so far as to make a 'chalk' outline of a dead body on the ground with a little note that said 'this will be you if you don't attend our seminar this weekend.' That just about did it for me.

I love Dr. Adam, but the rest of them are a little tweaked. I hope he gets his own practice. And I hope they stop sending me bills; I've had to call four times now and each time they say 'oh, it's on autosend in the computer, I'll take it off.' Is it really that hard to take me off of autosend?

I have to agree with the other reviewer about the trouble you will face in getting a refund for services not used. If your situation should happen to change due to work schedule or relocating, and you are unable to continue with the program, you will have to wade through numerous phone calls, emails, and outright dishonesty before you are refunded your money. Please keep good records because Planet Chiropractic does not. Nor do they know, or they claim they do not know, the actual legal policies that are in place with CareCredit. The dishonesty that was exhibited by Dr. Majors and his staff is enough to make me question the rest of his claims regarding the chiropractic care he provides. Before you dive into the CareCredit quagmire, you might make sure you get everything in writing including their refund policy. They may say you can canel or be refunded, but they are not completely honest about it.

I heard Dr. Majors speak about 3 months ago, and right then I knew this was the place for me and my family, i have never heard a doctor know so much on health and wellness and I could see he was living it. Since care my entire family has rarely been sick, he had fee systems in place to help our entire family, and ive referred 7 people from work, my parents and my sister and not one complaint, if there was an issue i have his own personal cell# and email and we could contact him anytime...love it, love it...love it...
