I have been a regular patron at the Right Light for the last 2 years. I bring my family, out of town friends and clients. Not once have I been disappointed. The service, food and ambiance is first rate. I experiment by going to new restaurants occasionally, but the consistency at Red Light keeps me coming back. Thanks to Jackie and her great staff! 2/22/08
Will be back soon!: The food was great. I cannot say a bad thing about this place. The food, the service were great.
$35 Steak Stir Fry???: It's a gorgeous restaurant with amazing asian decor. The menu is varied - there is something for everyone on it. Even those on something of a budget. And yet somehow... we managed to order a $35 steak stir fry. That wasn't made of kobe beef. The waitress described the entree so enticingly that we didn't even hear the price. She had me at, "seared with garlic...". Actually we ordered two. One would have been enough for our family of four. We also ordered the pate and sausage dumplings which were described as The Best Ever by our picky young one. The real Best Ever was the Chocolate Bag. Even though we had no room left for what remained of the $35 Steak Stir Fry, we managed to just about lick the plate clean of the Chocolate Bag. Dessert spoiler following... The Chocolate Bag is just that, in a puddle of raspberry coulis and filled with white chocolate mousse then topped with creme fraiche and raspberries and mint leaves. Skip the $35 Steak Stir fry and go to Red Light just for that dessert.
