    great hotel: loved this place... walking distance to Michigan Ave. & Navy Pier.

    I won't forget it....: It was a very nice hotel...clean and very neat. BUT the overall stay was terrible. First when we got there we had to wait a half hour before finally getting reconized at the desk...it wasn't busy and there was plenty of available employees...so after that we went up to our room to find that we were assigned the wrong room so, we went back down, after waiting for 15min the employee simply rolled her eyes and said to wait by our assigned room and that she would send someone up. After waiting for 45min my husband went down and reminded them of the situation they said someone was on their way. So finally a young man glanced at the door and the key slided it through a few times then said to go down to the desk and ask for them to assign us a new room...at this point were pretty frusterated. So then i suggested that we go to another hotel...my husband disagreed so we stayed. They called us at 4:30am to tell us we had a call i answered and come to find out they directed the call to the wrong room. So then we decided this was terrible. The next morning we went donw to the desk to give a complaint. They said 'We'l be right with you.' They never got back to us.

    Will not stay here again: The rooms were in need of updating and some of the furnishings were stained. We booked an American Girl package at $189.00 per night. A few days before arrival the package was on their website for $169.00. They would not adjust the price on our reservations. When we arrived they would not honor all of the features of the American Girl package. We called 2 days before arrival and asked what the parking fee was, and were told $30.00. When we arrived the parking charge was $38.00 per day. The pool was in an inconvenient location. After the first nights stay, we all woke covered with BUG BITES!!! The staff was not overly concerned about this fact. We were not offered any refund-full or partial. They told us that they would contact us. A week has past and we have not heard from them--but I am not surprised. It is definately not worth the money and we will not be staying here again!!
