Since my surgery I don't hate looking at my chest when I look in the mirror because I'm comfortable! Before I would always look, and be disappointed...
I had my breast augmentation, when I was 25 and recently went back to have Dr. Pensler make them bigger. I'm 31 now.
My best friend and I had our breast augmentations done on the same day. We both were very unhappy for a long time. If I had been more knowledgeable when I was younger, I would have had done it even earlier.
We did a lot of research on a lot of different doctors. Dr. Pensler was listed as number one for breast augmentations in Illinois and that's why we chose him. We signed on the way out.
Before I had the surgery, my clothes never fit right; I didn't feel like a woman. I was even teased when I was younger too by all my friends, and all the guys. I felt like a boy.
I was self-conscious, and I'd turn away if I was sitting forward and cross my arms. Sometimes I would also stand behind someone or something to hide my chest.
Now my breasts look perky like I never had a baby, and like they should have if they were big when I was 19. They don't sag and they just look completely natural.
I love how I fill out my clothes, especially bathing suits. I'm in my bathing suit all summer. I love the look of my body when I'm nude. I feel like I look like a woman and am confident being woman like I belong, like what I'm supposed to look like.
The other thing I really like is that to the touch they're very very soft and they feel like they are real.
I lost count, and have sent Dr. Pensler somewhere between 12 or 13 clients. Most of them wanted the exact same look I had. They're all extremely happy with their results too.
I know a lot of other girls that went to different doctors for their breast augmentation. And none of them are happy. Or if they are, I don't think they realize how much happier they could be if they had Dr. Pensler do their surgery.
Dr. Pensler is amazing doctor. He's very comfortable to talk to. If you talk to him about anything, he's a regular guy. He makes you feel totally comfortable. I also like that he will tell you if he doesn't think you need something. He was really good about that. I went back to him for some other thingsâÃÂæ and he was very honest -- he didn't say, oh yeah, just do it, to make the money. He told me the truth.
Even getting to his appointments, always seemed to fit my schedule. I live in Des Plaines and Dr. Pensler'ÃÂÃÂs office is downtown but it's well worth it. I mean if you're gonna go and have somebody give you a breast augmentation, it doesn't matter how far you go. You want to make sure you pick the right doctor, the one that's gonna be safe and be honest and make sure that you look great.
If you have to drive a half-hour or 45 minutes, or even an hour and a half in rush hour, do it. He's well worth it!

I feel so much better about myself!
I had been thinking about having a breast augmentation since I was 16.
My main concern was that they wouldn't look good.
My breasts were very small and I felt really out of place.
Now after the surgery I am a full C/D.
I looove the way I fill out my clothes.
My shirts don't look funny and my dresses are a lot easier to wear.
I am so much happier with the way I look. I feel A LOT more confident too.
And it feels good to be noticed.
My breasts are perfect, thanks to Dr. Pensler.
They don't sag and they're round.
I can go without a bra and there's no sagging.
But, what I like the most is that there are no flaws and I look so much more
proportional.
I decided to have Dr. Pensler do my breast augmentation
because two of my friends had the same surgery and they
really liked him, and they way they look.
I liked Dr. Pensler as soon as I met him. Everyone in the office was also
really cool and nice.
What I couldn't believe, is that I felt completely fine after two days.
It only took me 2-3 days to fully recover. I had my surgery on a
Thursday and I was driving and back at work on Monday --
but I was out shopping on Sunday.
I would tell anyone who was thinking about a breast aug to go
with the size that Dr. Pensler recommends. He totally knows what he's doing.
The other thing is that even though I am young I was able to
finance this on my own. I have good credit and at my consultation,
Dr. Pensler's staff explained all the options to me
so I could finance my augmentation and make it work for me.

"I have given him his life back, his life forward"
It will be about two years, this January when our son,
Ethan (now 16) had his gynecomastia surgery.
We noticed maybe a year or so previous, as he was developing,
he seemed kind of large chested.
We thought..."kids get fat deposits and hormones and...then they grow..."
But, he was becoming more and more self conscious
about his body...covering up, folding his arms and stooping a lot.
It was affecting his daily life. He was distant from activities.
At the time, he was playing soccer and he
seemed really distracted about his body. He was
in a swim program, and he quit because when
he came out of the water he crossed his arms.
He didn't want to take off his shirt.
So we talked to Ethan... and asked him if he
wanted to look into it (gynecomastia). He was amenable to it.
He didn't come out with it and he didn't suggest it
but he was a part of the decision.
As his Mom, my main concern was about the timing.
I didn't wantto do it too soon or wait too long because
psychologically that would have been really hard on him.
Our first consultation was with a general plastic surgeon.
He told us the gynecomastia surgery was a
very involved process. Ethan would have to go
to the hospital, have tubes put in and be out of
school for a couple of weeks. It was overwhelming.
My husband went online and found Dr. Pensler and
that's what really helped... finding a specialist.
Dr. Pensler specializes in gynecomastia
and he is with Children's Memorial Hospital.
He's that bridge -- able to connect with an early teen
while having the experience with gynecomastic
procedures. He was able to meet Ethan at his
level and he was able to walk us through this.
Dr. Pensler directed a lot of things to Ethan and
didn't talk to Ethan through me. I appreciated
Dr. Pensler respecting Ethan as his patient.
I feel like I have given Ethan his life back, his life forward.
I am happy that I could do that for him. Now its becoming
a non-issue... it doesn't even exist.
Before, Ethan wore lots of undershirts but he got rid of
those last year. Now he wears T shirts that are
much closer to his body. Before, he was
wearing loose oversized shirts with an undershirt.
Now he is much more confident and relaxed.
He will walk around the house without a shirt.
It's as though he's like everyone else now. He doesn't
stand out in a way he doesn't want to. He's not going to
be hampered or held back. He's got a clean slate.
He's comfortable in his own skin.
Absolutely, I would highly recommend gynecomastia to
another parent and I would give them Dr. Pensler's name.
His staff is kind, pleasant, reassuring and positive.
They know how to keep tabs and make sure everything
is going just right.
Dr. Pensler and his staff are absolutely the best.
