First time: Going to Les Nomades was my first exerience in 5 star resturant. I enjoyed the food, it was much more than excellent. I enjoyed the setting. It was a very nice experience.
Excellent dining experience: I was looking for a resturant to propose to my girlfriend and the criteria I set was high. I was looking for a resturant with an intimate setting, exquisite cuisine, top notch service and a little help creating a night to remember. I found all of this and more at Les Nomade. When I first spoke with Noel I told her my plan and asked if I could stop by the resturant and have a look. Since it was going to be in the afternoon the resturant would be closed but she stated someone would be there and to ring the bell. I rang the bell and was was met by Chris Nugent. He could not of been nicer, taking time out of his work to talk to me and show me around. After explaining my plan and discussing the menu a bit I decided that this would be the perfect place. A week prior to our reservation I preset the menu so when we arrived everything went into motion, I handed the ring off to the hostess who took it to Chris (I left it to him how he wanted to present it). The entire waite staff was in on the plan and made sure everything was perfect without tipping anything off. At dessert the waiters brought out a plate that had a chocolate cake in one corner and a parfait glass with a beautiful bell shaped dome covering the top in the opposite corner diagonal from the cake. This bell shaped dome was latticed and made of sugar, just a beautiful creation and a perfect presentation. In the parfait glass Chris had filled it with ice and placed the ring right on top of the ice. Much to the relief of myself and to the happiness of the staff my fiance was taken by complete suprise. In fact she was in such shock she barely touched her dessert a fantastic flourless chocolate cake. For some a resturant with this type of cuisine and service may be a common dining experience but for us this was a rare treat and the entire staff did everything they could to be certain that the night of December 17th 2005 was as perfect and as memorable as it could possibly be. My heartfelt thanks goes out to the entire staff at Les Nomade.
Exquisitely Fine Dining: Took my wife for her birthday. Service was impecible, food was fantastic, atmosphere quiet and quaint. Wine parings were outstanding. Every attention was paid to our needs yet not bothersome. Everything about the evening was perfect. Romantic carriage ride from hotel. Perfect evening.
