| About: | How do they get those omelets so amazingly fluffy and huge? That is what you will be asking. The answer, of course, is by using a mixer to beat the eggs into submission. You will also gasp when you see just how enormous that bubbly apple pancake (more like a huge apple fritter) is when it is set on your table. In fact, you may be surprised that the table doesn't collapse. Try the German pancake, too. It looks lighter, but looks, as they say, can be deceiving. Whatever you order, expect high quality food. It is no wonder this is one of Chicagoans' favorite breakfast haunts, with super-long lines on the weekend to prove it. |

this is the best pancake house around. I have been to the one that was in oak park and the downtown location is better. Their are a lot of people i see come their as regulars. It's really good to come early because a lot of people come and their is a line. The line is quick and they have very good seating process that they go by. If you are a party of one of two you get seated even faster. i love everything that have there cause i tasted like everything there. my favorite is pancakes cause i love pancake. I like the pigs in the blanket. the dutch thing they have. They also have crapes that are wonderful. if you ever had a skillet full of sauage, eggs and what you like wow. I see people come in from like 8 oclock am in the morning to like later around 3pm. really nice hours huh.
sometimes if you lucky you might see a star come in there.
great big pancakes, not too expensive either, you would think it was because its on bellevue
Everyone must try this place out!: Don't be frightened by the long line at the door or the IHOP aesthetics - it moves quickly, and the food is worth it. I highly recommend their two specials, the dutch baby and the apple pancake - exquisite!
