About:Tempo is the best place to go for omelets in the city. Choose from a variety of combinations or make your own. No one seems to be able to figure out how they make eggs taste so good. Lunch and dinner fare is excellent if you are in the mood for stick-to-your ribs type meals. But, even better is stopping by at midnight for a late-night meal for a comfortable sleep over a hearty meal at reasonable prices.

I go here quite a bit. Good selection of dinner food. Fast service, if not the friendliest, but not rude. Just busting their butts to get stuff done. Busy in the morning, but hardly ever a wait in the evening. Breakfast is the best, but the burgers and salads are tasty. Good value considering that you are two blocks from some of the swankiest shopping in the country. Also has some diet friendly dishes -- salads, fruit, the veggie egg white omelets, etc.

Denny's Meets the Mag. Mile: When I first walked in I was suprised that the hotel recommended this place as "good eats". The ambience was nothing spectacular, resembeling a Denny's on the interior, I was suprised to see the word Buckwheat on the menu. I ordered the Banana buckwheat pancakes, they were good, better than many other late night eateries would offer. Little ramekins full of butter accompanied our meals. My companions food looked good as well, and they enjoyed it all the same. But, the waitstaff was so ornery that it ruined any bit of pleasure that I derived from the food. It's too bad with a can of paint and restaffing this could be a spectacular place.

Less than meets the eye: Far too expensive for what was offered, combined with the most lackluster, bordering on hostile service I've experienced in ages.......I certainly won't be returning
