Ambiance is phenomenal, food is just ok, service is awful. Chips were served with fresh salsa, a few cloves of warm garlic (YUM) and fresh peppers. Chicken soup (not ordered, just presented) had no Mexican flare at all. They should either adjust the recipe or stop serving it immediately. Nacho cheese is melted in a microwave. Service was bad. Not the worst I've ever had but bad nonetheless. While it's nice to have Spanish speaking folks working at a Mexican restaurant, they should at least be able to commicate enough to interact with guests. We had a bus-person clear our table of everything, including drinks, before we were served our food. Then a second bus-person almost tossed a whole plate of food that we were trying to have boxed up. We just couldn't seem to get through. (Side note: I have been in a relationship with a hispanic person for 13+ years so I am used to people speaking broken English. These people couldn't communicate in English at all. They even seemed to have trouble understanding the word "NO" which is the same in English and Spanish.) Our server seemed like she was almost done her shift and just wanted to be somewhere else. She brought the wrong food twice. I probably won't ever go back.
not all that for the money!!!!!!: the food isnt very traditional since it is mostly targeted towards an upscale crowd. smaller restaurants inside the city seem to offer more traditional flavor. as with any restaurant that is just getting off the ground then explodes, the prices keep going up and up and the portions always get cut down.
Margarittas here do the job quick!!: I love the Margaritas here! the Carne Tampiquna was really tender. The rice is also really good here. Service was quick and friendly, the mariachis made it fun. Im going back!

Not authentic. Commercial Serve yellow cheese with their dishes (this is a sign of an Americanized Mexican restaurant. Good ambience though.
