Great little bar: Went to this bar after leaving House of Blues and had the best of time. Wait staff were very friendly and prices of drinks were very reasonable. Blues music was good but only problem I seen was too many breaks from the band, but still was not that bad.
great for blues fans: I went to this place back in 2000. I was visiting my brother who lived there at the time. I remember I had a specialty pizza, BBQ sauce and chicken instead of cheese. It was probably one of the best foods I ever had. the theme was nice, there was blue light throughout the place, and almost every night there was live music. if your in chicago, It's a great place for dinner or if you just want to hang out somewere and take it easy.
Blues the way it's meant to be played: Not having went to a blues bar very often, this was a nice treat for me. Sat very near the stage and the beer was served in a timely manner. Thoroughly enjoyed the music, but the ambiance was what really gave the music the added quality that made the evening one I won't soon forget.
If visit a blues bar in Chicago soon, make it, "Blues".
You won't regret it.
