Lincoln Park Hospital is currently closed and has a development plan for conversion to High Rise condos, senior housing and loads of retail despite being in a quiet neighborhood of 2-4 story buildings. This plan could work if and only if the retail was removed and the high rise lowered to 5 or less stories. For 20 years before this hospital closed it was under low usage and frequently used by indigent patients. The development will bring more traffic to this quaint neighborhood than a rarely used hospital.
