About:Pequod's Pizza is a famous Chicago good-time establishment, with all the trimmings. Whether scarfing pizza, drinking beer or shooting pool, you can relax and turn off the pretension radarnone to be found here. The pizzas have a special 'caramelized' crust that is very different than anything else in this great pizza town. If you order sausage, bewarethe sausage topping is made from huge chunks of meteorite meat, so you better be hungry, and prepared to be chewing on a lot of antacids the next day.

    "carmelized" is another word for burned but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Supposedly Gino's East is the place to go when visiting Chicago. Pequods is just as good if not better than Gino's and is considerably cheaper. If I had to choose one place to eat pizza on any given night, I would select this place. Being within walking distance is just an added bonus for me.

    One bad thing. This place isn't very big and they crammed in a few too many tables if you ask me. You might be sitting closer to your neighbor that you would like but it's definitely worth it.

    I ate a slice of this pie, not knowing about the cheese crust, and I was blown away. First of all the bread is very tasty and easy to eat. The ingredients taste very fresh and just when you thought this delicious pizza was over, BAM a big ol' crust of carmelized cheese that keeps you coming back for more!

    This is the BEST PIZZA I've had in a long time, I came across this wonderful place by chance and boy am I glad one though that I would change are the hostesses, they could do a better job.The waitresses are cool and attentive. LOVE THIS PLACE!!!
