User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI graduated in 1970, Dunbar had it problems but students as well as the teacher came to the school for education. When I walked across the stage there 400 plus students graduating. I rated 252 with a grade point of 3.5, the training I received contributed to my retiring from US Air Force with the rank of Master Sargeant and skill level as a Fire Chief. I give credit to the instructors of Dunbar for job well done. Many Thanks.

now every one on here is saying that they graduated from dunbar back in the day some time. And by the way i am no my mothers email. Dunbarmight be a good school when it comes to the education and sports but there students are terrible. I might not go to Dunbar but i go to Young Womens Leadership Charter School right by Dunbar. Dunbar has shootings and fights and there boys are always trying to harasse the girls at my school. At Dunbar you might get a good educationbut its not a good environment to get an educatuon in

I graduated from Dunbar in 1981. I lived in the Englewood H.S district when it was called the castle because it was so old and reminded you of a English castle. I was determined not to got there so I focused on my grades. I was fortunate to have my choice of which school I wish to attend. I was selected for CVS, Limbloom, Simeon,Dunbar,and Hales. I visited all the schools and Dunbar stood out because of the students and their interaction with the teachers. It was like one big family and thats how I felt the four years attending Dunbar. I played sports, was a captain of the football team, worked with year book.I never regret a moment selecting Dunbar as it prepared me for college and the business world. Finally I love attending my reunions because I miss my mightymen family of 81'

i attend Dunbar and it's not that bad. Just like other high schools we have our faults but please don't say our school is not the place to be cause we are the MIGHTY WOMEN AND MIGHTY MEN OF DUNBAR VOCATIONAL CAREER ACADEMY!!!!!!!
