About:Smoke Daddy is a classic. A full array of barbecue specialties is on the menu here, and they're all excellent. Choose from ribs (babyback or spare), chicken, pork and a variety of sandwiches: you really can't go wrong as long as you ignore the cholesterol count. The side items here are straight from the South; the smoky baked beans and sinful sweet potato are both worth sampling. Beware, though, as portions are generous enough that side dishes might be overkill. The inside is typical Southern roadhouse, with a few booths and tables and a bar. Smoke Daddy has a decent selection of bottled beers, but forget about getting anything on tap. Live bands play most nights. Thursday night jazz jams are particularly worth catching because their energy level is so high.

I have been to this place a couple times now. I haven't had a bad thing yet. I had the brisket once, and pulled pork the other time, both were great. I have been told that take out isn't as good, but i have only eaten in. I love this place and would recommend it to anyone.

    NOT IN MY JOINT

Well i didn't even get in the door; Im african american and this chesty guy bout 5'10(im 6 ft)guy met me @ the threshold of the place and (i asked him for a take w/ menu) and he let me know clearly that i was not welcomed in that establishment.Iam 46 I don"t wear hip hop clothing( no malfescance tendencies) I was w/ my white girlfriend we were comming from the fire(w/ my 2004 lex 3 series and bikes in tow) works and i decided to check the place out( read about i in red eye ).When i called the placethe next day the manager was indefferent and standoffish and made me feel like I should of apoligized to him . lastly no one was eating, every one was drinking inside and out; it was a saturday night about 10;40pm.
?? The place smelled good but I guess cause it is a changing area and @ that particular time they didn want people like me to mess the aura up??it left me soo hurt and dissapointed. I DID NOTHING TO RECIEVE THAT TREATMENT.
