Company Information: Salute the contributions African-Americans have made to world history, and learn about their culturally rich heritage. Galleries showcase extensive collections of award-winning photography, paintings, sculptures and other works by African and African-American artists. Original slave documents and civil rights memorabilia are also displayed. The museum hosts numerous public programs throughout the year including lectures, special exhibits and workshops.

   It's Great History There.: It's Just So Much History There..I Would Recommend Everyone To Go There, especially black people. From Scott Joplin To Barack Obama Is There. So If Ever In Chicago, Come On By Here.

   Roots: I feel that many black people have stoped telling their children the struggles that have brought them to othe place that they're at now and having the museum is a way for young people to SEE their history, so that our history will not be forgotten.
