    All the complaints are what makes it historical! If the service was any different, this wouldn't be the same spot! A legendary Chicago one and only! We all know what to anticipate... go in... complain with the other patrons and the time will fly! Then do it again the next time you gotta have that "steak sweet with mild on the fries!!!" They don't need to change a thing. As another reviewer mentioned: "It's made to order" ENJOY!!!

    THIS HOME OF THE HOAGY HAS COOKS EATING WHILE THEY MAKE YOUR SANDWICHES AND FOOD IS FALLING OUT OF THEIR MOUTHS ,THE COOKS DONT WEAR GLOVES ,GUESS HOW MANY PEOPLE THAT IS GETTING PAID CASH WHILE RECEIVING SOCIAL SECURITY AND WIN A FREE STEAK SANDWICH......

    Man, I grew up in Racine Courts from back in the 70's. They have the best sandwiches ever. I now live in Southern Indiana but whenever a family rmembers either comes this way or we go that way. sandwiches must be brought for everybody. My husband who has never been to Chicago, loves the hoagies too so now I have to include him. But i'm like one of the other reviewers, surely it should have expanded by now or at the very least be able to ship sandwiches. I don't care what it cost, I'd do it.
