   Fast Food "Choo Choo" Diner - Great 4 Kids!: A suburban mom, I stopped in Fast Tracks for a "fast" bite as I was literally rushing home, attempting to get on the nearby heading Kennedy Epwy and beat traffic. I was delighted with this little corner fast food diner with fresh, homemade fries and yummy Vienna Beef dogs! The service was friendly and fast (the merry-faced owner was at the register) and while waiting for my food, I was entertained by the large Lionel train that was circling the diner on tracks overhead. The food the hit the spot and so did the price at $4.30 for a footlong combo w/fries & a soft drink. There's a little outside area with picnic tables resting on railroad ties and more railroad paraphernalia. Plus, parking! We have two little boys and we visit a local fast food train diner in the suburbs...and it is highway robbery! We are now planning a train trip to the city, on the train, just to go to Fast Tracks with our boys. It's a great meal stop with the kids on your way home from Navy Pier or another family outing in the city.
