Subterranean Cafe: I went on a Tuesday evening, which is hip-hop open mic night. I must say that I enjoyed myself quite a bit and even purchased a cd of one of the underground artists. The ambience is cool and everyone that was in the junt was pretty much chill. I'd definitely visit there again on hip-hop night and other events as well.
Subterranean hottest hip hop open mic: I went to Sub T as it affectionately called Tuesday night. The night started off kind of slow but by 11:00 p.m the place was alive and jumping. All in the same room there were Singers, Poets, Mcees, Rappers, B-boys and B-girls all over the place. Laughter and hip hop was spining in the air brought to you by 606 productions. They first open up the bar and this night it was free beers until 12:00 p.m after that I was pretty much drunk the whole night. They open the show with a open mic where aspiring brotha gets up and freestyle off a hip-hop beat. Then the dj spins out the beats were so hot and it was a beautiful setting everyone was so nice..... to be continued
Great place to Dance on Fri or Sat nights: This place has solid music on Fri and Sat nights for great dancing to your faviorite hip hop tunes and some you may not have heard yet. Also check out their open mic nights earlier in the week.
