User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThis place is excellent! I've been to various other sushi restaurants around Chicago, and Shiroi Hana wins every time, hands down. An amazing assortment of fish and vegetarian dishes, at the best prices. My girlfriends and I come here for sushi every time!

Was shocked to see this place on yahoo's home page as being listed as a top sushi spot in Chicago. THis place is terrible. Ordered a couple tuna rolls, edamame, and a shrimp tempura roll from this place and....the tuna was inedible - had turned - edamame wasn't good, either. And the shrimp tempura roll was ok, but is it possible to mess up one of those? It certainly wasn't spectacular. Avoid this place. It's terrible. It's cheap, yeah, but quality is low.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsAMAZING sushi: Not much to say except I have been going for years and have gotten totally spoiled by the assortment, prices, service and constanty fresh sushi. I have never had a bad experience. If you're looking for a white tablecloth type of joint, this is not for you. If you're looking for value and amazing sushi...here ya are! I have had most everything on the menu over the years and there has never been an occasion where I felt let down. Try it. You'll be pleasantly surprised.
