About:This bar's owners have built "The Field of Dreams" for Chicago's gay community. Much like the famed mythical baseball field, "if you build it, they will come"... in droves. This video bar has more than tripled its size since it first opened. But night after night, an eclectic mix of athletic types and club-goers pack the place in. The big-screen TVs show a mix of musicals, comedy and retro 80s videos. But, as with any other self-respecting gay bar, the best watching isn't on the screens, but in the crowd.

    Love it!: My friends brought me here for my birthday because i love showtunes more than anything! Since then, i have become an addict! The place is great! The bartenders are fantastic and they remember you! The crowds are great too and super friendly! I have never had a dull night and anyone who have never witnessed an entire bar singing showtunes at the top of their lungs is missing out!

    Great Place to Meet People: Sidetrack is my favorite bar in Chicago. It's great from the decor to the bartenders. Everyone is friendly and remember you. I enjoy myself evertime I go back to Chicago. Great Place never been to a better bar in my life!

    Not your average bar!: Sidetrack is an amazing outing. Highly recommened. Monday nights: know how at a sports bar they have plasma screen TVs everywhere and they show ESPN? Same thing at Sidetrack except the plasma screens give us...SHOWTUNES! And everyone sings along.
