Maria's Mexican Restaurant has some of the finest chicken fajitas and a frozen margarita in Chicago. Their salsa is homemade and excellent. The atmosphere is great with their murals all over the walls, and the same three guys serenading the visitors every Friday and Saturday night. Reasonable priced quality food makes for a fun night out.
Wow! Just wow! Great service awesome food and, as someone else posted, reasonably priced. I just had one of the best steak buritos in my life. Salsa was just right. Higly recomended!!!
I don't think anybody that is giving this place more then one star has ever tried real Mexican food. I was there on Sunday and I will have to say that the food there has been by far the worst I have ever had. The steak, didn't even taste like steak. The tacos are served on a hard shell, like at Taco Bell!!! The chicken enchiladas were soggy, as if they had been made from chicken soup. I had a combination plate that came with a cheese enchilada and they managed to screw that up also. How do you screw-up a cheese enchilada??? it had no taste. I would suggest you try another place, if possible. Even Taco Bell would be a better choice. As you can tell, I will not be going there ever again.
I was billed twice to my credit cards and management assured me this matter would be take care of. It was over two weeks where I had to get my financial institution involved again with the restaurant.
