Went to The Flying Horse on a recent trip to Galena and loved the place. I can't believe how much it's changed from Backstreet Steakhouse, the restaurant it used to be. Now it's definitely got a better atmosphere, lower lighting and a more romantic feel. The food and service were both on point. Before the meal we sat at the bar where the bartender recommended wine pairings as we browsed the menu. Overall it was a great experience and I will be back when I come to Galena for the annual craft fair this fall.
Very nice decor. and very good food!!: Was an old Galena Bank. Decor very nice but very noisy because of the wood floors and tin ceiling. Food is suburb. Try their toasted coconut dessert. It is heavenly!!
