User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsNice, quiet, comfortable place. The crowd is pleasant and the bartenders are nice. It's a good place to go for drinks and conversation, unlike a lot of the "club" type places in town.
The only problem I had there was once I ordered a UV blue and lemonade and I think someone added water to the UV blue because it was pale and tasted like watered down lemonade. The help has changed somewhat since then and I haven't had a problem since.

From the lot accross the street....: Ha, you are right, do not park in the lot accross the street, because my landlord will have your head! :) I live in the apartment complex that sits 100 feet from the rue marche's back door, so obviously I am there alot. I must say, it has become my favorite place to go in rockford, hands down. The waitresses are very nice, the service is excellent, I love the food and liquor selection...I've met the new owners and they are very nice people. Everybody that goes there are great, fun people. I can honestly not think of one bad thing to say about the place. I love the rue, and I highly recommend you visit them. You wont be dissappointed
