User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI celebrated my 2 year anniversary at Johnny's and it was a fabulous experience. We had an amazing time!
The restaurant is very nice. I wouldn't go dressed in jeans... it is an upper scale restaurant. It has a romantic feel to it, so it's nice for dates and celebrating special occasions. Our waitress was fabulous! She was charismatic and definitely on the ball. She took care of everything and we never felt ignored.
We had some martinis, which were delicious. Mine was actually pretty strong (stronger than I'd like), but hey. We ordered the crab cakes as an appetizer, which we enjoyed. My friend recommended the tomato and cheese salad, which seems to be incredible, though I didn't try it since we have that all the time at other restaurants. My entree was the seafood pasta pomodoro (excellent) and my fiance ordered the drunken steak (he liked it a lot). We ordered creme brulee for dessert... that was delicious as well. Their portions are generous and all their entrees come with a house salad. You also get delicious bread in the beginning. I think it was garlic with sun-dried tomatoes.
I would certainly come back again. It was fantastic and we had a great little private booth.
User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsDisappointing: My experience at Johnny's was that of an extremely uninviting waitstaff making lots of loud noises, extremely over seasoned chicken and pasta and a waittress that seemed to wish to be anywhere but serving us. For the price of a meal at Johnny's, Iwould have expected much more. The most positive thing I could say is that the restaurant is decorated exquisitely
