User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsI've never been to an Ice Cream shop that was more representative of its town than Tone's Cones. This is what Ottawa's all about. Every time my fiance and I go there's someone we know, or at least someone waving at someone else.
Somehow with all the traffic the place sees, the girls working there are able to keep smiles on their faces. And what they serve up is pretty good. The prices are fair, and the cones are always fresh. The only reason this place doesn't get five stars from me is well.. it's soft serve. The ice cream isn't going to knock the shoes off your feet, but every town needs a quick easy soft serve place like this.
So take a walk or a bike ride here (don't drive, walking will help with the guilt).-

Awesome ice cream, great service!! The atmosphere was upbeat, family friendly, and fun for all ages. Cute names for all the premier sundaes, I had the big kahuna banana split...to die 4!! I'm from the city and would love to see a place like this where I live....but will make the trip to Ottawa until that time comes.
For the comment of the okay ice cream ...go somewhere else for ice cream then, you probably shouldn't be eating it anyway lard as*!!! 
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsWonderful: Ther has never been a place that I have eaten desert and felt more at home. What a wonderful resturant for a great town like Ottawa. I wish there were more places like this to eat at. My kids love to come and see the "girls" working and being so helpful and so nice, even if the kids are a little loud. Thanks Tone's Cones!!!
