User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsIve lived in Ottawa basically my whole life, and recently moved to Cali and the #1 place I miss eating at is Bianchis! Best pizza by far! I wish they would expand.

I've lived here for 8 years and contrary to popular belief, I find Bianchi's pizza is average at best. But perhaps I'm biased due to the fact that I grew up just outside side of chicago and was raised on the great thin crust and of course chicago style deep dish in the area.
I have had Bianchi's a few times (gotta try everything at least twice to know for sure) based on the recommendation of the locals and I found it to be m'eh at best. I found the pizza to be a little too greasy for my liking, the sauce was quite bland, and the crust like cardboard. From the people I have spoken to, it seems that Bianchi's is a love hate relationship, it's either the best pizza ever or a disappointment (perhaps the disappointment comes from the local hype/expectations).
If you want a real good pizza in Ottawa I'd reccommend Alfano's...but hey thats just me 
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI have traveled for quite some time and have never found a pizza that compares to Bianchi's. It is by far the best pizza I have ever eaten. We plan on having a couple dozen for our wedding rehearsal dinner. Having gone to high school in Ottawa, I know what it's like to scrounge up some cash to get a large cheese pizza on a friday night and drool when the door bell rings. In response to RyanM's comments about Bianchi's having poor service, it's very obvious that you are a tourist. If you wanted more service all you have to do is get up and ask for it. You order your food and drinks at the door the moment you walk in. If you need more of anything you go order again. By today's standards it may seem unconventional, but that is the way they have run things for a very long time.
For anybody else that wants to know what Bianchi's is like while you're in Ottawa, just ask around. You will hear nothing but great praise. And if you look closely, I bet you will see their eyes glaze over and their mouth begin to water at the thought of a square piece of heaven known as Bianchi's pizza

I'm a 31 year resident of Ottawa and I will tell you that for most of my life I loved eating pizza from Bianchi's however lately I've noticed I'm getting more grease with my pizza than toppings! Not to mention the fact that they open at 4pm and close at 10pm is totally ridiculous! I think more people who love their pizza would be happy if they even opened up at 2pm and stayed open until 2am. Sams and Alfonos dominate late night pizza. Bianchi's has been slipping over the past few years, I'm sorry. And another bad thing about Bianchi's, there have been several times I called for a delivery because I didn't have a car or couln't drive and I get the excuse they don't have a driver?! That is bogus! BOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!
