User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsThis is an update to my last comment, which I deleted since Mangold completely turned. I thought they were great at first, but ended up being not so nice when my truck fell apart after having it for about a week. I ended up having to get rid of it, and it it weren't for Velde Ford in Pekin, I'd be walking right now!! I had to get back into payments, which I really can't afford, but at least I'm not walking, and I knew Mangold would not be giving my really nice car back.

My family has purchased vehicles from Mangold Ford for over 20 years. The employees have always gone above and beyond to make sure we were completely satisfied, whether they were in Sales, Service or Parts. Everyone makes you feel at home and very welcome. I appreciate the fact that I have bought vehicles without my husband present and have never been treated like I didn't know what I was doing. There have been other dealerships that did not treat me this way and they in turn did not receive my business. They have always been upfront, honest and warm. Mangold Ford makes buying vehicles an exciting and fun experience.

They like to sell you cars and truck but when it comes to service and standing behind their product they like to stick it to you I bought my first truck from Mangolds and it will be my last one had a part that went bad three times because ford changed the design of the truck and the part is not a regular ware part but Mangold's mechanics just said that all three parts went bad and they would have to charge me I paid twice I'm not paying the third time I can live with the bad part but this is America I don't have to buy a Ford the next truck will Toyota they are getting to be more American then what Ford is let Ford build their cars down in Mexico they can sell their junk down there they don't stand behind their product anyway...G.man

I've had bad experiences at Mangold too. I bought my car from there and, unlike Happy I was treated like an inferior being because I was female and buying a car alone. The financial person got incredibly rude with me when I refused to use his payment plan, insisting on higher payments that would help me pay off the car sooner. He actually used the phrase "little lady" to apparently reprimand me for having a mind of my own. And the repair department? HORRIBLE. I took it in for an oil change. An oil change, people. They took an hour to change the oil. I was in the waiting area and when a truck moved, I realized my car had been sitting out in the parking lot, who knows for how long. They just didn't bother to come tell me it was ready. Mangold Ford, never, ever again will a buy a car there or service my car there. Horrible, horrible service.
